Need For Speed Heat is the return of EA’s classic racing franchise. This time we take to the streets of a fictional version of Miami for a host of illegal street races and both day and night racing. Like just about any NFS, Need For Speed Heat will at the very least look fantastic. Here are the official system specs needed to run NFS Heat.
Need For Speed: Heat Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i3-3570 4-Core 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-6350 6-Core 3.9 GHz RAM: 8 GB System Memory GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory GPU: GeForce GTX 760 or Radeon R9 280X HDD: 50 GB Available Hard Drive Space DX: DirectX 11
Need For Speed: Heat Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 4-Core 3.6 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 4-Core 3.5 GHz RAM: 16 GB System Memory GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB HDD: 50 GB Available Hard Drive Space DX: DirectX 11
Functionally, we expect NFS Heat to be running on roughly the same version of the Frostbite game engine as 2017’s Need For Speed Payback. Two years really isn’t all that long between sequels and it means we’ve ended up with very similar specs and, all likelihood, similar visuals and performance. But, we should imagine a lot of folks have little idea about NFS: Payback’s performance as it was, like a good chunk of Need For Speed titles, a fairly bad game. Need For Speed: Heat will be looking to buck the worrying trend.
But what the series has always had on its side are some great visuals. You’ll be wanting to run NFS: Heat at 60 frames per second so it’s important you adapt your settings accordingly. It’s more important to have a stable frame rate in a racing game than it is to crank the graphics settings up.
Electronic Arts is suggesting Need For Speed Heat will requirea Radeon RX 580 4GB graphics card with a Core i7-4790 4-Core 3.6GHz or Ryzen R3 1300X processor to reach the recommended specs, which will achieve high graphics setting on 1080p screen resolution. 16 GB will also be needed to achieve the Need For Speed Heat rec specs and get 60FPS.
It’s recommended you have a graphics card which is at least as powerful as a GeForce GTX 760/Radeon R9 280X paired with FX-6350/Core i5-3570 3.4GHz CPU to match the min specs. This PC setup will deliver 30 Frames Per Second at Low graphics setting on 720p resolution.

“Right now, i dig the how Day/Night cycle affects the gameplay like Dyinglight does the high and risk high reward during night time.”
