Cyberpunk 2077 Hacks Into Death Stranding in Free
Post-apocalyptic courier simulator Death Stranding is ending the year with an awesome surprise, receiving a free crossover PC update that brings Cyberpunk 2077 characters and lore into Kojima Productions’ highly acclaimed title.
As part of the free crossover PC update which is now live, Death Stranding has received six new missions that see characters from Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City crossing universes and sending Sam Bridges on new adventures.
Some of Cyberpunk 2077’s technology has also bled into Death Stranding with this update, as players can now hack into enemy machines while in combat. This way, you can stop Mules in their tracks, temporarily block their poles from activating or stun Odradeks that have it in for you.
The crossover PC update also brings Johnny Silverhand’s unmistakable style to Death Stranding through the following cosmetic items:
- Cyberpunk 2077 themed Reverse Trike vehicle with improved jumping power
- “Silver Hand” modelled after Johnny Silverhand’s robotic arm that can be equipped and used in game
- New holograms including a SAMURAI symbol signboard and a Atlas Trauma Team vehicle hologram for certain constructions
- Several fashion items including Johnny Silverhand’s sunglasses
