AC Valhalla lets you upgrade your gear at a blacksmith, but not without first securing certain resources. Eventually, you’ll find yourself looking for Nickel Ingot locations.

That happens due to how different tiers of upgrades require different types of ingots. In this case, Nickel Ingots are used to upgrade gear from Superior to Flawless, enabling Eivor to take on tougher opponents.

Like its Carbon and Tungsten peers, AC Valhalla Nickel Ingots can only be found in certain locations, largely due to the fact that each of the three ingot types is tied to a particular suggested power level.

Each region in Valhalla has a suggested power level attached to it, indicating how strong Eivor should be prior to attempting the content there.

Nickel Ingots are the second type you’ll encounter throughout the game. You’ll do so starting with regions with a suggested power level of 55, like East Anglia.

Elite enemies can also drop them, provided you can best them in combat. You can also purchase ingots from merchants when you’ve got some spare silver in your pouch.
