Assassin's Creed Valhalla How to Unseal the Well of Urdr
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla dips into Norse mythology and, during your time in Asgard, you’ll have to figure out how to unseal the Well of Urdr.
You’ll arrive there during the Well-Traveled quest and, although Tyr does honor you with his company, finding out how to unseal the AC Valhalla Well of Urdr falls solely unto you.
As Eivor remarks, the nearby sunstones are supposed to guide a beam of light toward two targets placed on stones surrounding the well itself. It’s, then, obvious that we’re dealing with a beam puzzle.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla How to Unseal the Well of Urdr
The sunstone from which the beam of light originates is found on the opposite side from your point of entry in the room. Approach and interact with it.
Above the door through which you entered the room, you’ll spot a prism. Direct the beam towards it and it will split in two. That solves the problem of having to hit both targets with a single beam.
Drop down to the base of the well and you’ll find a sunstone that you can move. On its right, you’ll spot one of the two targets you need to hit. Keep its position in mind.
Drag the sunstone back and slightly past the corner to the right until it’s lined up with the target mentioned above.
Head back near the entrance. As you go up the stairs, you’ll spot a sunstone on your left side. Interact with it and guide the beam towards the sunstone that you just moved near the well.
If you positioned it properly, the beam will hit its target and you’ll be halfway done with unsealing the Well of Urdr during AC Valhalla’s Well-Traveled quest.
At the same time, it’s possible that you’ll need to fine-tune the position of the lower sunstone. Either way, it should be long before you get it right.
With your back to the entrance, move to the first sunstone on the left (right as you’re walking up the stairs). Redirect the beam towards the sunstone on its left side, then move to its platform.
Interact with the freshly connected sunstone, then adjust its position so that it hits the second circular target on the stone near the base of the well.
