You’ll have to excuse this article being a bit late I, er, sort of forgot it was October. Where did September go? Anyway, there’s no time for dilly-dallying because October is every bit as brutal as September, and don’t even get us started on November. Red Dead Redemption 2 anyone?
Due to the tardiness of this article there are already a few notable releases on store shelves, starting with Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, which has already zoomed to the top of the Steam charts.
There are some really interesting games outside of the traditional AAA tier this month, including Disco Elysium (this seems excellent, look for a review shortly), The Outer Worlds, Afterparty, and Killer Queen Black
And then, to cap it all off at the end of the month, the big one. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lands with two months of 2019 to spare and we’d be very surprised if it doesn’t end up being the bestselling game of the entire year.
