The next name in epic feudal warfare, it promises to be a top-to-bottom simulation of medieval life. Bannerlord is every genre you can think of bundled together and shaping up to be the sort of game you could easily pump thousands of hours into. Before you put on your pauldrons and head to war though, here are the official PC system specs for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

While we don’t necessarily expect Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord to be hugely demanding, it could be a slightly shaky ride from Early Access to its eventual 1.0 launch. Things are going to shift and change as TaleWorlds find its feet. As such, these system specs for Bannerlord should be viewed in a state of flux, they can and probably will change a little between now and launch in March 2020.

Based on what we have here though, M&B2: Bannerlord appears to be a game shaping up to be heavily reliant on CPU performance rather than typical GPU dependence. The minimum spec processors for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord are perfectly capable and fairly modern CPUs, indicating quad-core is going to be an absolute must. Things go sky-high for Bannerlord’s recommended CPUs though, suggesting either a hexa-core i5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600X. Both of these CPUs will tear through any game you throw at them so these are considered pretty high-end for recommended spec processors.

Fortunately, Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord goes a little easier on the graphics card demands. The suggested minimum of a GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850 is very low indeed (both score zeros on our new hardware scale) and just about any modern GPU should be more than a match for this pair. The recommended graphics cards for Bannerlord also come in well below the average, suggesting a GTX 1060 3GB or Radeon RX 580 4GB if you want to crank Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s visuals to the max.
