The fantastically odd Disaster Report is finally coming PC-wards. A Western release has been announced for Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories and, to our surprise, it’s coming to PC alongside the PlayStation 4 and Switch releases.
The Disaster Report franchise trades on putting players in the middle of huge urban disasters and then attempting to survive. Dreamily subtitled Summer Memories, don’t let that fool you. Disaster Report 4 centres on a massive earthquake which plunges a city into chaos. There are aftershocks, fire, falling debris and unstable ground to contend with. Your only task in all of this is simply to survive.
It’s quite rare for these games to release outside of Japan, let alone for us to get a Steam release. They’re not exactly the sort of titles to earn rave reviews but they’re certainly very unique in what they offer. If, like me, you love a good 7/10, then Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories could be for you.
Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories comes to PC, PS4 and Switch in early 2020.
