I’m truly, deeply sorry to be bringing more Claptrap into your life unnecessarily but Gearbox has just dropped a new trailer for Borderlands 3, so needs must and all that.
The general gist of the trailer is that looting and shooting in Borderlands 3 is better together. A nice celebration of togetherness we can probably all get behind, particularly when a squillion types of weapon are up for grabs.
It’s probably not the choicest time to drop said trailer, mind, with Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford admitting yesterday that cross-platform multiplayer won’t make it in time for launch. “Good news,” said Pitchford, “we are committed to supporting cross-play for Borderlands 3 with our partners as soon as practicable after launch.”
I don’t know what to say, it looks like a James Bond intro sequence after munching down one too many psilocybins. This could be a deep insight into how Randy Pitchford sees everyday events.
Borderlands 3 is looting and shooting its way to a September 13th launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
