Fallout 76 Christmas Event 2020 – Holiday Scorched
Another year draws to a close and with it, Fallout 76 kicks off its 2020 Christmas event, adding a festive touch to Appalachia once more with the return of gift-bearing Holiday Scorched and the Santatron Collectron Station.
Fallout 76 celebrates Christmas in 2020 through an event that’s not vastly different from last year. There is no quest to announce the arrival of the Holiday Scorched and redeeming the Santatron is done in a similar manner to last year.
Fallout 76 Holiday Scorched Christmas Event 2020
Starting with December 17, Holiday Scorched can be spotted roaming across Appalachia, spreading post-apocalyptic festive cheer. You’ll know them by their distinctive, Santa-like attire that’s easy to spot from afar and the playful jingle that accompanies them as they move.
Ruthlessly murdering them can yield Holiday Gifts that you can unwrap from your inventory. Holiday Gifts come in three qualities, – low, medium, or high-quality – and can contain anything from crafting components to aid items, going as far as potentially getting you rare plans.
You cannot trade, sell or drop the Holiday Gifts you loot off deceased Holiday Scorched. While still drawing breath, they’ve also found an exclusive love for the outdoors during Fallout 76’s Christmas event 2020. You’re out of luck if you plan on looking for them inside buildings.
Fallout 76 festive cheer doesn’t just stay with the Holiday Scorched, however. Players can also purchase Wrapping Paper from various vendors and craft gifts of their own.
The Holiday Scorched Fallout 76 Christmas event lasts until December 31. Check out this handy document for the full list of rewards.
Fallout 76 Christmas Event 2020 Santatron
Fallout 76’s Santatron – not to be mistaken with his evil cousin Satantron – can be unlocked for free in the Atomic Shop and its Collectron Station built in your C.A.M.P.
After you’ve given Santatron a relatively cozy home, it will explore the nearby area searching for toys, candy, and other items. While the Holiday Scorched Christmas event is live, there’s also a chance that the Santatron will find a Holiday Gift of random quality.
The items found by the Santatron can be picked up from the container that comes with its station. If you already have a Scavenger Collection Station, you can have you Santatron look for Scavenger items or vice versa. That being said, only one Collection Station can be active at any given time.
The Santatron can be claimed before December 29 and built even after it leaves the Atomic Shop.
