Abilities
Break the Mold (Passive):
- Rell has significantly reduced Attack Speed, but her attacks steal 10% Armor and Magic Resist and deal an additional plus total Armor and Magic Resist stolen magic damage.
- Attacking a champion refreshes the stolen Armor and Magic Resist on all afflicted enemies.
- Always steals at least 5-12 based on level, reduced against minions.
Shattering Strike (Q):
- 50 Mana
- 9/8/7/6/5s Cooldown
- Rell thrusts her lance, destroying all Shield and dealing 35/52.5/70/87.5/105 (+25% AP) magic damage. The first unit hit takes 70/105/140/175/210 (+50% AP) damage instead and suffers Break the Mold’s defense steal.
- If Rell is bound to an ally with Attract | Repel, they both recover 10/15/20/25/30 (+30% AP) plus 5% missing Health for each enemy champion hit.
Metalmancy (W) Armor Up and Mount Up:
- 40 Mana
- 11s Cooldown
- Passive – Mounted: Rell gains Move Speed, reduced when taking damage.
- Active – Metalmancy – Armor Up: Rell leaps off her mount, Knocking Up enemies for 1 second and dealing 70/105
- Passive – Dismounted: Rell gains Armor and Magic Resist, but has 250 base Move Speed.
- Active – Metalmancy – Mount Up: Rell mounts up, gaining 15% Move Speed for 3.5 seconds, increased to 25/30/35/40/45% Move Speed when moving towards enemy champions. Her next attack during that duration throws the target over her shoulder, dealing an additional 10/25/40/55/70 (+30% AP) magic damage and ending this effect. While Mounted, she can use Metalmancy – Armor Up.
/140/175/210 (+40% AP) magic damage. Rell then enters Armored form, gaining 40/70/100/730/160 (+13% health) Shield, reducing her Move Speed, and allowing her to use Ferromancy: Mount Up.
Attract | Repel (E):
- 40 Mana
- 18/15.5/14/12.5/11s Cooldown
- Rell binds a piece of her Armor to another allied champion, granting them and while near you. Doing this has no cost, and only puts this Ability on a 3 second cooldown.
- If Rell uses this Ability without targeting an allied champion, she snaps the binding, Stunning enemies around and between herself and her bound ally and dealing 80/120/160/200/240 (+30% AP) magic damage.
- Rell can target herself to unbind from her ally.
- Tether dissapates at max range, but reconnects upon re-entering range of your bound ally.
Magnetic Overload (R):
- 100 Mana
- 120/100/80s Cooldown
- Rell explodes in a magnetic fury, violently Pulling nearby enemies towards herself. Then Rell constantly draws nearby enemies towards herself and deals 120/200/280 magic damage over for the next 2 seconds.

Nexus Blitz has also returned for another round of testing, with a series of tweaks detailed just below.
New Art Changes!
- The Temple of Lily and Lotus has gone into full bloom, with new statues and atmospheric changes to push the art direction of the map even further beyond, and help differentiate the two sides of the map from each other! And we’ve added extra cuteness with some updated Little Legends shopkeepers.
Integration with the new Summoner’s Rift Item Update!
- You’ll notice that all of the new Items are active in the mode. And URF Deathmatch now gives ability haste and Item Haste instead of Cooldown Reduction (note: there are a few outstanding bugs)
Removal of legacy items (RIP DFG) with the *exception of Golden Spatula!*
- We thought with all of the new items added during this preseason, having the legacy items on top of that would create too much confusion, so we have removed them for now. But don’t fret, they will likely come back in a future update!
New area in the bot lane!
- We have added a new island in the jungle near the bottom lane of the map (currently coined as ‘Scuttle Island’) to hopefully break up some of the stuck gameplay patterns we were observing last time the mode was live. Let us know what you think, if you feel safer or unsafe playing in the bot lane, and what new ganking opportunities arise as a jungler!
Jungle Guardian Changes!
- Based off of feedback from the last run of Nexus Blitz, we have made some updates to the Jungle Guardian tuning and behaviors.
RiotPhlox has shared an upcoming set of Pantheon changes meant to put more emphasis on his role as a top lane champion:
Pantheon list thats heading toward PBE (and 10.25). Taking away some proplay and support/midlane power to give Toplane a place to shine. Will be following up if needed as we see games on it and where the roles shake out.

Amumu also received additional nerfs to mana gain, his E and R spells, via a hotfix that’s now live:
Amumu still looking like a big outlier after the patch, overperforming other tanks (and everyone else). We have a hotfix nerf coming today:
-Mana per lvl 60 >>> 40
-E base damage 75-175 >>> 75-155
-R stun duration 2 >>> 1.5-2s— Mark Yetter (@MarkYetter) November 25, 2020
Lead Gameplay Designer Mark Yetter has once more provided a preview of the upcoming changes the team plans to implement in League of Legends’ Patch 10.25.
The series of item tweaks that begun last patch continues, as Riot Games takes advantage of the preseason period to balance things out.
Champions are also getting a bigger amount of attention this time around, multiple nerfs and buffs being on the way:
