Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Treasures of Britain and Excalibur Location

The Treasures of Britain are, in fact, items that you must find and bring to the AC Valhalla Excalibur location in order to obtain the blade. All of them also award 1 skill point when picked up.

Exploring the caves isn’t particularly difficult, however, the final three cannot be obtained without bloodshed, having fallen in the hands of Zealots.

While you’re free to attempt those fights whenever you see fit, having a Power Level that’s close to that of your enemies’ or higher makes this endeavor considerably easier.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 1 – Grimes Graves, East Anglia

You’ll find the first of AC Valhalla’s Treasures of Britain locations in the eastern portion of East Anglia, southwest of Brisleah Farm.

Perform a leap of faith into the chasm and move forward. Use the poles to get on the other side, go through the left door, then follow the path forward.

Use the narrow stone ledge and wooden pillars to get to the other side, climb up, watch out for the snakes, then slide down.

You can destroy the cursed symbol on the first pillar to your left, then climb the wooden ladder on the right.

After a longer sequence of navigating wooden platforms, poles, and stone ledges, you’ll climb up to an opening with a chest.

You’re free to loot it, just don’t forget to break the pots in front of you, as they hide the Mysterious Hilt Tablet. That’s the first AC Valhalla’s Treasures of Britain location found and a step taken towards solving the puzzle of the AC Valhalla Excalibur location.

Grimes Graves is a location that’s also featured in the pre-order Beowulf DLC. Here’s how to find the key that opens the locked door inside.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 2 – Cavern of Trials, Cent

For the second Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Treasures of Britain location, head to the eastern side of Cent, southeast of Raculf Monastery.

Enter the house, make a right and drop down to the cellar through the hole. Head forward, platform across to the other side and open the grated door.

Use the wooden pole to reach the rocks in the middle, then jump to the other side. Go through the door and use the rope to get across.

Climb up on the hanging rock and move towards the left. Walk forward on the new rope, turn to the right and jump on the pointed rock. Drop down to the rope below and go forward.

Use the rope and wooden poles to drop down to the door below, then follow the path forward. When you climb up again, you should spot a small opening through which you can fit. Use Odin’s Vision to spot a key.

Simply jumping towards it gets you the Key of Agility. Move forward, make a right and go up. Move the stone that’s blocking your way.

Squeeze through and use the ropes on the left to drop down to another entrance below.

In the room with the wooden platforms, you’ll spot a second key on your left. Odin’s Vision highlights it. Shoot the hanging stones to open up the way as you’re circling around.

Shoot the ladder, use it to climb up to the wooden platform, then use the ropes to jump towards the hanging key. The Key of Dexterity is now yours, which means that one more remains.

Drop down from the rope, go forward, make a right, then a left. Unlock the three grated doors. Follow the path forward and up.

Push the moving rocks to help with climbing over the pointy rocks you cannot scale otherwise.

At the end of the path, you’ll find a third key to help you exit and the second AC Valhalla Treasure of Britain location needed to obtain Excalibur from its location.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 3 – Santlache Mine, Suthsexe

Head to southeast Suthsexe, east of the region’s southeasternmost Fast Travel point and you’ll find the mine.

Enter it, keep to the right path and blow up the first breakable wall. Go forward, jump across the platforms, then make a left and slide through the small opening.

Move the shelf to gain access to the ladder and climb it. Keep going right, shoot the ladder so you can reach it, climb up.

Keep heading forward through the platforming section and avoid the door on the left. Use the rope to get to the other side, grab an oil pot from the left side and blow up the breakable wall in front of you.

Move forward and slide down. Get to the other side of the water, past the left side of the water wheel. Use the wooden pole to dive into the water there.

Keep swimming forward, break the wooden wall, go forward and up. You’ll soon emerge in a cave. In the center, you’ll find another Treasure of Britain.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 4 – Old Cellar, Essexe

Head just southeast of Colcestre and enter the cave near the marker. You’ll know it by the pointy rocks at the entrance.

Follow the path forward, sticking to the right side. Keep heading forward and climb up the rocks. Use the rocks to get to the other side and make a left after you run past the barrel with a skeleton near it.

Get to the other side, squeeze through the crack in the wall, take a few more steps forward, and you’ll reach the Old Cellar.

Shoot enough wine barrels and the flowing liquid will let you reach the Valhalla Treasure of Britain through the shaft in the center of the room.

AC Valhalla’s Treasures of Britain Location 5 – Wiccan’s Cave, Eurvicscire

Found southwest of Jorvik and south of Olikana Tower. You’ll know you’re near the right cave by the marker on the map and the sharp icy formations at the entrance.

Climb up to the ledge on the right side, then follow the path forward. When you spot an opening with a large tree in the middle, slide down to the lower platforms while avoiding the bottom.

Turn left, shimmy along the edge, then jump on the nearby tree branch. Use it to get to the other side, hop onto the pointy rock, then follow the path along the cave’s edge.

Climb up, move forward and shatter the icy wall on the right side with your bow. You’ll reach a barred door. Shatter the wooden door to your right and go through it.

Beware the deadly chickens and shatter the wooden wall on the left, revealing a grated entryway. Shoot the oil pots in that room to break the wall on the other side.

Return to the barred door and head left. Dispatch the boars and shoot the barred door through the grated entryway there, unlocking your path to yet another one of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Treasures of Britain locations.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 6 – Deoraby Spar Cavern, Snotinghamscire

Found in northeastern Snotinghamscire, north of Skadi’s Den. Enter the cave, climb up on the rocks, turn around, hop to the other side, and squeeze through the crack in the wall.

Loot the key from the skeleton, unlock the nearby door, and carefully follow the path across to the tall statue next to the broken column.

Climb the statue’s head, hop on top of the column, and platform to the other side, using the rocks. Use the toppled statue on your left to climb higher.

Go up the stairs and loot the treasure which you can use at the AC Valhalla Excalibur location.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 7 – Red Lichen Cavern, Hamtunscire

You’ll find this one east of Wincestre. Enter the cave and move through it until you reach the walls painted red. Take the first wooden bridge forward, then make a left.

Make a right and follow the path, platforming across until you reach an area with green gas covering a ledge. Jump to the ledge and use it to get to the other side.

Drop down, go forward, and use the wall on the right to reach another Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Treasures of Britain location on the platform covered in green gas.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 8 – Wocig, Hamtunscire

Head northeast of Chepeham. Enter the cave and follow the path until you reach a boat. Use it to head through the cave, taking a left and then a right.

At the end of the path, climb the wall on the right. Head right while following the ledge. Platform across until Eivor mentions a challenge, then slide through the opening on your left.

You’ll spot a door. Blow up the oil pot in front of you, then head inside the room on the left. On the right, the fire should have revealed a new hole in the wall. Slide through it and collect the eighth treasure.

AC Valhalla Treasures of Britain Location 9, 10, 11 – Woden, Heike, Hrothgar

The remaining three tablets can only be looted off the corpses of the Zealots carrying them once you’ve defeated them in combat.

  • Woden, Power Level 220 – Cent
