Bugsnax Crack The Code Quest – How to Find the Missing

Bugsnax Crack The Code Quest - How to Find the Missing Page

Finding the missing page is, perhaps, the least straightforward part of Bugsnax’s Crack the Code quest, and can result in a lot of running around if you’re not sure what to do or where to look.

You first obtain the Crack the Code quest upon reaching Bugsnax’s Frosted Peak area. There, you’ll meet Eggabel, and finding the missing page is required to progress past the ancient door whose opening mechanism leaves the doctor-turned-explorer stumped.

Discovering the missing page’s location is just one of four objectives needed to complete the quest, most of them revolving around rewards you obtain from your main task of getting all the Grumpuses back to Snaxburg.

How to Find the Missing Page in Bugsnax’s Crack The Code Quest

To find the missing page, you’ll need to first convince Cromdo, the red salesman Grumpus, to come back to Snaxburg.

You’ll find him in the Scorched Gorge and will have to learn how to use the launcher and bring him two Freezing Bopsicles before he’ll accept to return.

Cromdo’s personality doesn’t let him part with things without first getting something in return. You’ll only be able to obtain the clue that helps you find the missing page from Lizbert’s journal after completing all of his sidequests.

They involve sneaking around, stealing stuff, and taking down one of the larger Bugsnax you can only find in his very last sidequest.

Cromdo then gives you a map of Boiling Bay marked with a red X. That’s where you’ll find the missing page that helps you progress through Bugsnax’s Crack the Code quest.

Simply reach Boiling Bay and head to the peninsula on the left side, past the shipwreck. Avoid getting frozen by its tiny guardian and, at the end of a patch of grass, you’ll find a backpack and the page.

Pick it up, and you’ll be one step closer to cracking the code. We’re unsure if you can pick up the diary page prior to learning its location from Cromdo.

If you’re visiting Boliing Bay before completing his sidequests, it’s worth visiting the area’s left side and looking for it.
