Spellbreak Launches on Steam in December, Ending Epic
Spellslinging battle royale Spellbreak is headed to Steam in December, marking the conclusion of its period as an Epic Games Store exclusive.
Spellbreak became an Epic Games Store exclusive upon entering paid early access, fully releasing earlier this year, in September, as a free-to-play title.
While most other battle royale games make use of firearms as the main way of eliminating opponents, developer Proletariat’s latest project takes a different approach to combat, focusing on blending different elemental spells and hurling them at your opponents.

As of December 15, Spellbreak will also be available on Steam. You can already keep track of it via its very own page.
Its latest major update, Prologue, dropped last month. It not only introduced a new 9v9 team deathmatch mode, but also laid the foundation for the Chapter system that will develop the story over time.
Spellbreak is free-to-play and available now on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
