So here’s a surprise for you, or me at least – Switch exclusive Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is coming to PC this October, bundling in the frankly maniacal base game along with all of its post-launch content. It’s a heck of a difficult game to write a summary on but suffice to say it’s co-op arcade action which goes off in some unpredictable directions. It’s not fantastic but it’s certainly an entertaining enough foray for arcade fans. Travis Strikes Again comes to PC on October 17th but in the meantime, here are the PC system specs.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 4-Core 3.2 GHz or AMD FX-8320 8-Core 3.5GHz RAM: 8 GB System Memory GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory GPU: GeForce GTX 750 Ti or Radeon R7 360X HDD: 8267MB Available Hard Drive Space DX: DirectX 11
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4-Core 4.0 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X 6-Core 3.6 GHz RAM: 8 GB System Memory GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB HDD: 8.3GB Available Hard Drive Space DX: DirectX 11
We’ve still got a couple of months to go until Travis Strikes Again’s PC launch so there is still a chance these system specs could change, although the 8267MB installation size is wildly specific and indicates these requirements are already set in stone.
With that in mind, the No More Heroes system requirements spin two very different tales. On the graphics card front, Grasshopper has suggested the minimum spec GPU is either a GeForce GTX 750 Ti or a Radeon R7 360X. Both are low-end video cards, and both are typical minimum spec CPUs. Should you want to max out Travis Strikes Again’s graphics you’ll be needing the 2014 giant – the ever-reliable GeForce GTX 970, a Radeon RX 570 4GB if you’re looking for a modern equivalent. Both of these sets of graphics cards seem reasonable enough in terms of meeting Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes’ PC system requirements.
Everything goes a bit crazy when we begin to focus on the suggest processors though. Travis Strikes Again is a game which debuted on the Nintendo Switch earlier this year, a handheld console with an integrated Tegra processor. There is no way on the planet the PC version of NMH Travis Strikes Again requires a quad-core Intel Core i5-6500 as a minimum. That’s just ludicrous. For the recommended, Grasshopper suggests a high-end Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X. Again, a ludicrous claim and well beyond what we expect you’ll actually need.
