AMD has pushed out a new Radeon graphics card driver just in time for F1 2019’s launch day. The AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.6.3 GPU driver provides official support for Codemasters’ F1 2019 as its headline feature, as well as the usual array of fixes.
It’s the official support for F1 2019 that’ll be important for most though. If you’re an AMD Radeon owner planning on picking up F1 2019 this week then this latest graphics card driver should provide some last-minute performance optimisations for more stable frame rates. If you want the best performance in F1 2019, this is the driver you’ll need. We’ll be sure to get you a performance breakdown on F1 2019 shortly.
The fixed issues are all pretty minor, to be honest, so it’s not a huge necessity to upgrade to this latest 19.6.3 graphics card driver unless you’ve picked up F1 2019 on PC. As ever, do keep an eye on the known issues just in case there’s something that may affect you.
